FizzyCocktail is inspired by an unpublished mixing guide written by my 2x Great Uncle in 1933. Here you will find some of the recipes from that manuscript, as well as periodic posts of trivial tidbits and ephemera from the first decades of the 20th century.
The cocktail recipes will be presented in their original form – I have zero ability in the fine art of mixology, and so will not even attempt to bring these recipes “up to date” and more in line with current tastes and trends. There are plenty of other sites out there already doing that; ones that are far more knowledgeable and professional than myself.
